The Billing People Awards 2022, the channel’s only dedicated billing awards ceremony, was back with a bang last week at the stylish Soho Hotel in London. This year’s Awards saw significant expansion on previous years with more categories, more entries, and the establishment of the Awards as a standalone event, having previously been part of the Billing People Summit.
The Awards drew in a record number of entries which were judged by a panel of industry experts, chosen on the basis of their knowledge and experience in the channel. This year also saw the introduction of five exciting new categories, including awards for ‘Billing Hero’ and ‘Customer Experience Champion’. Tickets to the glamorous event were provided free of charge for all entrants.

- Continuous Billing Service Leader – Southern Communications
Billing People is a free to join membership body that champions the work of the channel’s billing professionals. The Billing People Awards was launched in 2020 to celebrate the achievements of the channel’s billing experts whose vital work can, all too often, go unnoticed by the channel. In addition, the event provides a valuable networking opportunity for billing professionals to meet and share ideas.
Billing People was founded by Union Street and the company continues to support the organisation as its platinum sponsor.
